Affiliate Login

Perhaps this is a result of just upgrading to Firefox 3 but I thought you might like to know that I tried logging into my affiliate account and received the following error message:

Secure Connection Failed      

www.shopify.info uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for *.shopify.com
The certificate expired on 5/23/2008 1:34 PM.

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

    * This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.

    * If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.

Or you can add an exception…

An update is that Safari gives you the option of accepting the expired certificate and ultimately allows you to log in if you do.

Firefox, at least version 3, however just displays the error message and doesn’t allow you to do anything.

Hey Ryan,

I had the same problem when trying to setup ShareASale. I was able to accept the certificate in Firefox 3 though.
