I just ran into a particular problem with my Shopify stores and I’d like to have a clarification about the matter. Thanks in advance |

Yes, that particular change has been very poorly communicated, but a couple of things that need to be clarified: .myshopify.com changed almost a year ago. Since that time we’ve maintained one system at the old datacenter to act as a proxy for people who had hard-coded the IP address in their DNS. That proxy failed yesterday and that’s why your site wouldn’t load. cluster.jadedpixel.com (.myshopify.com) has the IP address 204.15.199.4, not 204.14.199.4 as you have listed (and store.unotre.com currently has the wrong IP address as a result) The proxy is currently back online for all those customers, but we are planning to decommission it in the near future. We will contact all those customers who will be affected directly. Paul. ---
