We’ve started a big push on PR plus we’re busy developing some more products
- including t-shirts, a kids box called Little Jacks Box, and limited edition printed boxes

Little Jack: I’d highly recommend contacting a PR company for this. There is no reason why you shouldn’t go on TV with this in no time.

There may already be alot invested in the current name, but if possible I would recommend changing it to “Poo Box” or something that would open up your market more. I suspect that you may be barred in some advertising avenues just because of the current name. I’m not an expert on this, just a personal thought.

You may also want to consider some type of privacy attachment. Maybe a telescopic pole attachment in the back with a unfoldable ring attachment to the top of the pole that you can drape some type of paper curtain. You can probably think of something better, but I suspect that currently one would use this out in the wilderness somewhere, where others can’t see them, which begs the question as to why you would need to save the poo in a bag (just have a seat with a hole in it and let your gift to nature be that of fertilizer).

Anyway, I think it is a very novel idea. You may be able to think of ways to enhance it to further grow your business. Good luck!

We are also developing a ‘less offensive’ version – may be simply the “Bog Standard” (Bog Standard is currently the basic brown box) or “Loo Box” – for a more main-stream audience/market.
The current name is generating the kind-of interest we were looking for initially i.e. it’s a new and unusual product and getting publicity is key.

Shit Box – gr8 name, don’t change it! Just what you need for Glastonbury :)
