Opening an exported theme in Vision

Hi, I'm new to Shopify and have just begun working with Vision. The issue I'm having is that when I try to view an exported theme within vision, none of the themes styles are being applied, I just get text and a few pictures. i've tried on both a MBP running OSX 10.6.1 and and iMac running OSX 10.5.8. I can view the themes that came with vision, but when I place my exported them into the "themes" folder, it shows up in the list of available themes, but when I choose it, it's mostly unformatted text.

I am having this same issue and would like to know if there is a resolution as well.

Do you have theme settings enabled in your themes? If you exported any of the default themes they have theme settings enabled and therefore will not work.

Vision doesn't support theme settings currently. If you did want to get the theme to work in Vision you can either remove all the liquid from the CSS style sheets and rename the CSS stylesheet's extensions from .css.liquid to .css

That is a good work around Caroline. You could even just copy and paste the CSS into the one CSS file to the next - no saving files required.
