Implementing a persistent link to the cart?

Hey, all.

I’m trying to create a persistent link to the cart, and basically I’ve been stymied. Is it possible? If so, how does one do it?

If I’m not making any sense, check out my progress: Example

You’ll see that I have a cart representation in the top navigation, a la Amazon … What I want is for this widget to be clickable (and ideally ONLY clickable if there’s stuff in it).

Should do the trick. You just need to reference ”/cart” in your link target.

On another note Doug, I have a question for you. What conditional did you use to isolate the front page on this site? I don’t see any special rules in your css. I am baffled on the conditional I need and can’t find it in the docs anywhere. Thanks!
