Help! I click on the download vision link, it opens the zip file, i transfer all the files to a folder, i double click the .exe file and all i get is a little black window that opens for a split second and then nothing. No installation. Whats going on here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

The .exe file isn’t an installation file for Vision. It is Vision. On opening it, a new web site should open up in your default browser, giving you the option of creating, modify, or exporting themes. Is that not happening? — Last edited 03:31PM, Jun 07, 2008 |

I just downloaded the latest vision, unpacked it with winrar on my windows machine at home and started vision.exe. After a few moments it starts up a web browser and allows you to select from different shopify themes. That’s windows XP. ---

I’m working on MAC OSX 10.5.2 and just tried installing Vision. I also installed Ruby and retried launching Vision. I’ve got the white box just spinning -it hasn’t launched any Web browser at all for me. What gives? TIA! ---

Never mind. I think by restarting the MAC solved my issue. Funny, I’ve just converted to the iMAC this Spring and in some cases, I’ve never had to restart it to engage my applications. Something new learned everyday. Thanks for reading. PS. I’m having a giveaway (exp July 9) on my blog if you’d like to join in. Would love to see you there! ---

I had the same problem as calebm12, Becky and FannyA – a command window would open for a few secs then die. I then tried running it from a dos prompt and it worked fine. Not sure why, but I’m not going to argue! I thought I’d pass it on in case it helps someone else. I’m on a Win XP machine.
