I’m a recent arrival to the wonderful world of shopify but I’m having problems deciding on rates for shipping (I live ion the UK and only want to ship within the UK). I tried to buy one of my own products, just to see how everything worked, but couldn’t get past step 2 of the buying process because I haven’t inserted a shipping rate. Can I do that myself, or do I have to choose from the rates offered by the shopiufy site? On my shop front page, I’ve told people that the prices shown already include shipping. is that right? Sorry about how long-winded this all is, but I’m desperate to get this thing sorted before people start ordering the product! Any help will be gratefully recieved.

Well, if you already included shipping in your product’s prices, then I would suggest creating a shipping rate that covers all possible weight ranges and give it the price 0 pounds (=no additional shipping cost).
