Cross-Border Business & Legal Implications
Hi all, it's my first post here on the forum :)
I'm conducting research for an ecommerce business and have some questions re: cross-border shipping etc.
My business will be located in Canada but my customers will be primarily from Canada & USA, which is why the Shopify/Shipwire integration really appeals to me. I can have product stored at warehouses in both Canada and the USA and save $$ on shipping, get products shipped to customers quicker, etc.
I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what are the legal & tax implications with such a setup... remember my business will be registered in Canada only...
