I’m very new to all this and have been able to kind of set up shop.

we have handbags available in 4 colors so i have 1 product with 4 variants listed at the purchase price and deleted the default variant. the thing is, it is now defaulting to my first variant when i want the customer to <select one>. how do i make a “select one” option that requires the customer to pick a variant before it adds to cart?
