imo $300 is extremely low to design/customize a whole e-commerce site, you’re going to have a lot of trouble finding someone on here who will do it for that price. At that price range you may be able to outsource it to an overseas designer (although that might be too low for them as well): Try: Good luck. ---

$300 so that would be roughly $5 per hour. Doesn’t sound too attractive. Why not save your money, use one of the built in themes and then invest in a professionally designed theme when your store starts to make money?

Oh come on rawsterne, it’s not that bad. It could be as high as $10/hr. :) Seriously Mark, most designers that I know of work in the $50 – $100/hr range and a site design is NOT 3-6 hours of work. At a minimum I would say 20 hours and that is if you do a lot of the leg work, pick out the theme you want modified and have a good idea of what you want changed. Otherwise look at 40 hours. Otherwise again, shopify is built to be pretty easily customizable as long as you keep to the basics. Have you considered trying it yourself? ---
